The opening of the Museum of History and Statehood of Azerbaijan is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and the 27th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s re-independence.
The Museum of History and Statehood of Azerbaijan houses Azykh Cave, one of the oldest human settlements in the world, Gobustan – an ancient human settlement, Icheri Sheher monument complex in Baku, Blue Mosque in Yerevan, Khudafar Bridge, as well as models of historical monuments in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. bought.
The museum’s corner “House of Traditional Azerbaijani Peasants” presents everyday items, labor and household tools, numerous exhibits and compositions.

In addition, historical maps and sections on the Azerbaijani states from ancient times to modern times – Manna, Media, the glorious page of Azerbaijani history – the Safavid Empire, the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and independent Azerbaijan, as well as corners on the huge projects implemented by our country after independence. Our ancient and modern banknotes are exhibited in special corners created in the Museum.
It should be noted that “Azerbaijan’s national musical instruments”, “ancient pottery”, “our state symbols” are displayed on the stands created in the museum.
The museum displays interesting exhibits and compositions related to the ancient history, material and cultural monuments, rich traditions, literature, art and music culture of the Azerbaijani people, one of the oldest nations in the world.
The achievements of Azerbaijan in recent years include the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project, which are being implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and are among the world’s largest projects. A special section has been created in the museum.
Excursions to the newly opened “Museum of History and Statehood of Azerbaijan” for students of higher and secondary schools in Tashkent are organized regularly, and events on our national culture and history are held here.
The museum is open 6 days a week (except Sundays) from 10:00 to 18:00 every day.
